Interventions
Perhaps something we could start would be an online campaign that can translate to a physical presence in the world? Something to change the world?
Here at VIDA (Vaccination and Infection Disease Awareness), we are working to collect enough financial donations through our facebook page to obtain a vehicle like the one pictured here. The vehicle(s) will be refrigerated for the capability to transport the refrigerated vaccines needed to reach the rural communities in Chad. The biggest issue in Chad is the ability to reach the rural communities. By creating a means of transportation the vehicle could reach those in need of these vaccines, thus lowering the percentage of infant mortality.
Each vehicle will be equipped with a refrigerated bed and other medical supplies to be used for the Chadian people. Other notable items will be pamphlets and other information to allow the communities to learn about the importance of vaccines and general health care. Each vehicle obtained will be donated directly to the UNICEF program and they will be able to distribute the vehicle in the areas with the most need.
Our hope is that this donation pledge can lead to other means of transportation to help with the transport of vaccines and other healthcare items. We hope to someday have the capability of flying the goods to the most remote areas of Chad and air drop supplies needed to health care personnel in the area.
By using social media and viral posts to our advantage, we might be able to get our message out to the public to help us begin our journey. The population of Chad for the most part, doesn't have regular internet access. Perhaps instead we can use radio specials and ads to promote what we are trying to accomplish locally.
While this plan is, indeed, aid-based for now, we hope to be able train local Chadians and educate them so they might be able to take care of their own for many years to come and truly make it capacity-based. Hopefully, this will help them get on their feet and get to the point in which they no longer need long-distance transport of vaccines in specialized vehicles.

So... what do we want to accomplish?
By 2030, we hope to reduce the measles infection rate by vaccinating no less than 90% of the population and eradicating the stigma against vaccination. We hope to inspire those who can take action to help those in need to do exactly so and help our brothers and sisters in Chad.
We hope to have donated enough vehicles to help the country of Chad take care of themselves, and hope to have grown as an NGO and have the logistics ability to sustainably keep the transport of vaccinations active and effective.

What's the Science behind our Goal?
The Scientific Method is the best way to address and solve problems. There are six steps as follows:
QUESTION: What can we do to raise awareness and end the epidemic of Measles in Chad?
RESEARCH: We did extensive internet research into major organizations such as the World Health Organization, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Red Cross, and more.
HYPOTHESIS: By implementing a fund-raising online campaign (with the hopes of forming a physical presence), we should be able to raise awareness and the necessary funds for creating a capacity-based-end-goal, functioning vaccine transport and distribution system.
EXPERIMENT: By using observed communities without access to our methods of transportation as a control for Measles and mortality, we can effectively compare the results of a similar community when provided with the aforementioned transportation and vaccination plan.
Analysis/Conclusion: As of yet unknown, although some attempts have been very successful in cooperation with the Chadian government and UNICEF.
